Description

A limestone head of a small figure, shown alone against a plain grey backdrop with its lower part cut flat and broken. The head wears a close cap or hair covering that frames the forehead and falls to the sides, with heavy almond-shaped eyes, a short nose and a small mouth. The surface is pitted and worn, and a handwritten marking appears in the lower margin of the print.
