Famagusta. On board M/S Gotland

Description

Wooden crates hang from a hook and chain under a derrick cable above an open hatch on a steamship deck. Five people stand at the edge of the hatch in the foreground, including a young boy in a knitted cap, a woman in a headscarf and men in caps and jackets. A sixth man leans over the upper rail on the right, and white railings, ventilator cowls and a funnel fill the background.
