Pottery Plain White VI, a globular jar with a short flared neck and two small handles on the shoulder — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05670. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A globular pot with a wide open mouth, a short flared neck and two small lug handles on the shoulder, shown alone on a plain pale surface against a plain backdrop. Its light buff surface has small pits and dark specks, and the rim is slightly chipped on the right. Soft lighting casts a shadow on the surface beneath the vessel.
