Description

A narrow, deep cut in the ground runs from the foreground into the distance, its sides made of pale, crumbly earth with stones and dry grass roots showing. The dark floor of the cut is in shadow at the centre, and the rim of the excavation rises on both sides. No people or equipment are visible in the view.
