Several dark, corroded fragments from Marion, spread across a pale background.
Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05399. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Several dark, crusted fragments of irregular shape lie spread across a pale background. A tall piece sits on the left, a small piece above a larger one in the centre, and a broad mass on the right. The surfaces are pitted and corroded, with pale patches and cracks, so their original form is hard to make out.

Description, scan 2
A photograph mounted on a cream card with a light border. Four dark, crusted and pitted fragments lie on a pale background, the largest on the right with a lighter, mottled patch. No single bead or ring is clearly distinguishable, so the pieces read as lumps of corroded metal.
Description, scan 3
Several dark, crusted fragments of metal are shown on a pale card mount in one photograph. The largest piece, on the left, has a rounded outline, lighter patches and a crack across its surface. Smaller broken pieces lie to the right and below, with irregular, rough edges, so the original form of the objects is hard to make out.
