Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C05375j. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Two small irregular fragments lie apart on a pale grey ground inside a cream card border. Their surfaces look mottled with dark patches and spots, and the tones appear reversed, as in a negative. The left piece is taller and broader at the base, while the right one is narrower and tapers toward the bottom.

Description, scan 2
Two blurred, mottled fragments lie on a pale background, one above the other, with the photograph mounted on a card with a wide light border. The upper piece tapers toward the left, and the lower piece has a rough, broken upper edge and a dark patch on its right side. Surface detail is hard to make out because the image is out of focus.
