Description

Five long, corroded iron objects lie side by side on a pale card mount, each with a tapering pointed blade and a thicker upper end or tang. The surfaces are encrusted and pitted, and one piece has a broken, ribbed top. A number is written beneath each object, and the small slender piece in the middle is much shorter than the others.

Description, scan 2
Two heavily corroded iron objects lie against a pale grey background on a mounted photograph. The longer one is a narrow, tapering form with a rough, flaking crust and a crack running along its length; the smaller one at lower left is shorter and darker, with a similar pitted surface. A partly visible second photograph sits along the left edge, and handwritten notes appear along the bottom of the mount.
