Iron tools (M.58.17)

Description

Two corroded iron objects lie on a white card mounted on a cream sheet. On the left is a dark, roughly rounded fragment with a notch cut into its right edge and a crusted surface. On the right, a long, narrow rod in two pieces lies end to end, with a knobbly, pitted surface and swelling along its length, with handwritten notes along the bottom edge of the mount.
