Bronze Personal Adornments (A. 008:047)

Two corroded bronze objects from Amathus, elongated and irregular in outline, on a pale ground.
Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04956c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

Two dark, corroded metal objects lie on a pale grey ground. The longer piece runs across the upper part of the frame and has a rounded, thickened end at its right; the shorter piece sits lower left and is slightly bent. Their surfaces are pitted and crusty, and the edges are irregular, so their original form cannot be read from the photograph.
