Pottery jug with one loop handle, horizontal grooves on the neck and concentric circles on the body, against a grey background — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04766. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A globular vessel with a single loop handle on the left and a tall neck with horizontal grooves and a flat, rounded rim. The body has a band of parallel horizontal lines across the middle, a set of concentric circles on the lower front, and a short ring foot. The vessel is shown alone on a plain grey background in a grey-toned print, so its surface colour cannot be judged.
