Cypro.Hell.I. jar with pattern (A.26.5)

Pale jar with a flat rim, narrow neck and broken body, photographed alone against a plain backdrop. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C04273c. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A jar with a flat, disc-shaped rim, a narrow neck and a rounded body, shown alone on a plain light backdrop. Large sections of the body are missing, exposing dark areas, and the base survives only as a partial foot. Darker patches on the surface may be remains of decoration, but the pattern is hard to read in this photograph.
