  • Gold ring shown against a dark background, from Amathus finds
Description, scan 2
A dark square card holds a single ring-shaped object, a pale circular loop with a dark centre, lit so that its edges glow. A pale bluish patch sits above it, and specks of dust or surface marks are scattered across the dark ground. The object is too dark and soft to show metal or any pin or pendant form clearly.
Description, scan 3
A single ring-shaped object appears as a pale grey band around a dark centre, with faint blue traces on its outer edge. It is shown on a black square card with a cream border, and a faint diagonal scratch crosses the dark ground. The image is soft and the object's form and surface detail are hard to make out.
