Fragment of a coat of mail

Description
Four irregular, heavily corroded fragments of grey-white metal lie on a plain pale background. Each fragment shows rows of small rectangular units separated by raised ridges, with pitted, encrusted surfaces and broken edges. The largest fragment sits at upper right, and the others are spread around it in a loose square arrangement.
