Two-handled jar with a flaring rim, painted with bands of concentric circles and dark horizontal stripes — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03793. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A large two-handled jar with a flaring rim and a tall, rounded body stands upright against a plain pale backdrop. Rows of concentric-circle motifs run between dark horizontal bands on the neck and shoulder, while the lower body is plain and shows small pits and wear. A small handwritten mark is visible near the rim, and the print is mounted on a card with a cream border.
