Description

A jug with a round body, a narrow neck with a flared rim and a strap handle running from rim to shoulder, shown in three-quarter view against a plain pale background. Dark painted decoration includes horizontal bands around the neck and shoulder, a long-necked bird with a curved beak on the front, and a plant motif with pointed leaves below it. The surface is worn and speckled in places, and the base is plain.
