Single-handled jug with a high neck and rounded body, photographed against a plain background. — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03781. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A one-handled jug with a flared mouth, a tall narrow neck and a rounded, ovoid body on a low foot. The handle rises from the shoulder to the rim, and the surface is worn and scratched with patches of lighter, flaking material. Faint horizontal banding is visible on the upper body, and no painted pattern can be clearly made out.
