Pottery Bichrome IV, Plate - Jug. Cyprus Museum

Description

A globular jug with a tall, slightly flaring neck and a single loop handle running from shoulder to rim. The body is covered in dark painted motifs: several concentric circles, a broad arc of concentric lines sweeping across the body, horizontal bands near the shoulder, and a wheel-like rosette at the right. The jug stands on a short foot on a plain surface, and the photograph is mounted on a card with a pale border.
