Pottery Bichrome IV, Plate - Jug. Cyprus Museum (B. 1072)

Description
A pottery jug with a flared mouth and rounded body, its neck modelled with a face: two eyes with dark rims, a nose, a mouth and two ear-like lugs. Two strap handles join the shoulders to the body, dark painted bands run round the lower body, and a band of dots and hatching sits on the upper body. The vessel stands on a pale surface, and the photograph is mounted on a card with handwritten notes at the top edge.
