Terracotta Minor Plastic 1 (C.M.)

Terracotta figurine of a head and shoulders set within a curved arch-shaped frame, broken at the edges — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C03682a. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small terracotta figurine of a head and shoulders sits inside a thick curved arch of the same clay, chipped and broken along its edges. The face is worn, with pale patches of surface loss, and a round hole pierces the lower front of the base. The object stands on a pale surface against a plain light backdrop, and the print is mounted on a card with handwritten marks along the bottom edge.
