Terracotta Proto-Cypriote I

Description

A terracotta statue of a standing bearded man, photographed from a three-quarter side view against a pale grey backdrop. The head is tilted upward with the mouth open, the beard is modelled with rows of small curls, and one arm hangs straight down to a hand with fingers. The surface is pitted with small dark spots and marks, and the figure is cut off at the bottom edge of the frame.
