Description

Stone wall foundations of the palace at Vouni run across the excavated ground, with rubble walls and large cut blocks beside a trench in the foreground. In the background several workers bend and stand near a small tree on a rise, and the sea shows as a pale band on the left horizon. Heaps of excavated earth lie among the walls.
