Pottery White Painted III-2 (L.311A.4)

Description
A round-bodied jug with a tall narrow neck, a flaring spout and a strap handle rising from the rim to the shoulder, photographed alone against a pale grey backdrop. The body is covered with a dark painted lattice of crossing diagonal lines forming diamond-shaped panels, interrupted by a pale vertical band with a wavy dark line down the front. A crack runs across the shoulder and the surface shows some wear.
