Stones during excavation at the palace at Vouni

Description
Several rectangular pale stone slabs are laid in rows across the picture, with narrow gaps of earth between them, forming a paved surface. The slabs are partly covered by packed soil and debris, and a mass of rubble and broken stone sits at the upper right. The surrounding ground is loose, dusty earth with scattered small stones.
