Wall and stones during excavation at Vouni

Description
Two walls of large rectangular dressed stone blocks, laid in courses, meet at a corner in the centre of the frame. The left wall runs across the picture and the right wall recedes toward the right edge, with weathered surfaces and chipped edges. The foreground is pale, loose sandy ground with a dark shadowed patch at the foot of the walls, and the upper part is a plain bright background with no people visible.
