Excavation of walls and stones at the palace at Vouni

Description
A close view of a rough stone wall built from irregular, flat-faced blocks set in earth, with gaps and cracks between them. Smaller stones and rubble lie at the base where the wall meets a dusty, packed-earth surface in the foreground. The stonework fills most of the frame, with no people or scale visible.
