Description

Low stone foundations and wall lines of an excavated structure fill the foreground, with rough cut edges and pale earth between the blocks. A single tree stands at the left edge on a ridge, and a spoil heap of rubble and earth rises behind the ruins. Distant hills and a small shrub are visible on the right under a bright, empty sky.
