Limestone Cypro-Greek I head, statuette (K. 569)

Description

A carved limestone head shown in profile facing right, on a block-like base with a pale blue strip along its lower edge. The hair falls in carved ridges at the side and back, a wide band runs across the top, and the surface is pitted and weathered. The print is mounted on a pale card with a grey border, and a partly visible handwritten number sits at the lower left edge.
