Description

A tomb opening cut into pale, crumbling rock leads into a dark chamber where a skeleton lies among scattered bones. In the foreground a skull rests on the ground beside another skull with its jaw, and a pottery vessel is partly visible at the right edge. Loose soil and dust surround the remains, which are still in place as excavated.
