Description

Many broken pottery fragments of varied size lie densely scattered over dark soil and tufts of grass, filling almost the whole frame. Some pieces have curved edges and thick walls, and others are flat and angular. No people or tools are visible, and the view is a close, straight-down detail of the ground surface.

Description, scan 2
Dozens of broken fragments lie thickly across dark soil and patches of dry grass, some flat and angular, others curved or rounded at one edge. Several larger pieces show worn surfaces and breaks, and a few small sticks lie among them. No people, tools or scale are visible, and the view is taken straight down onto the ground.
