Tomb 13 at Enkomi, during excavation

Description
A close view down onto a cluster of vessels lying together in the soil of a tomb chamber during excavation. Several round-bodied vessels, some upright and some tipped on their sides, are packed closely, with rims and handles visible and their surfaces crusted with earth. The rough, pale soil surrounds them, and a dark recess opens along the right edge of the frame.
