Description

Looking down into an excavation cut at Tomb 9 at Enkomi, with pale earth banks on the left and right. A wall of irregular stones curves across the upper part of the cut, and a sloping passage leads down to a dark opening that appears to be the tomb chamber. The soil is dark and gritty, with small stones scattered over the floor of the cut.
