Excavation at the palace at Vouni, with stones and trees

Description
Two long walls of squared stone blocks run toward the viewer, enclosing a narrow trench with a dark floor on the right and a pale, levelled surface on the left. In the centre a rubble-built wall stands beside a recessed opening and a low step. A single tree grows on the rise at upper right, with bare hills and a wide valley beyond.
