Excavation at Kythrea: stone construction

Description
Low walls of rough-cut stones form a rectangular enclosure around a pale, levelled area in an excavated site. Loose stones and dark soil surround the structure, and a spoil heap of earth rises at the upper right. No people are working in the view, and the ground is stony and open beyond the walls.
