Excavation at Ayios Iakovos with stones

Description

A dark, roughly rounded opening is cut into a pale, crumbly soil face in the lower middle of the photograph. Above it, the sloping ground holds several scattered stones, including a large flat one, and some dry plant stalks. The surrounding soil is cracked and uneven, and deep shadow falls along the right edge.
