Walls and stones during excavation at the palace at Vouni

Description
A narrow trench runs down the centre of the frame between high banks of cut stone and earth. At the far end a wall of rough stone blocks, with a doorway opening at its base, stands above the excavated ground. Fallen blocks and rubble lie along the banks and on the right, and the sky fills the upper left.
