Pottery jug with a strap handle and dark painted bands, from tombs 61–98 at Marion — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C02179d. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A single jug is shown in front view against a plain background, its print mounted on a cream card. It has a tall neck, a strap handle rising from the shoulder above the rim, and a rounded body on a low foot. Several dark horizontal bands are painted around the shoulder and body, and the surface looks worn and mottled.
