Description

The jug stands on a low, flared foot and has a rounded body decorated with horizontal bands, a row of lozenge shapes on the lower body and hatched triangles and chevrons on the shoulder. A spout shaped like an animal's head rises on the left, with a short second spout on the right and a looped strap handle with a tall neck above. Cracks and mended breaks run across the body, and the photograph is mounted on a card with a border.
