Excavation at Ayia Irini, in situ find

Description

A dense cluster of ancient objects lies in brownish soil, photographed where they were found. At upper right, the upper part of a large sculpted figure with a band across its head rises above a smaller figurine. Around them are rounded vessels, a bowl-like shape at left, and many broken, pointed and elongated fragments across the foreground.
