Description, scan 2
A stone-lined channel runs diagonally across the excavation trench, its sides built of rough blocks and rubble. Flat, pale slabs lie across the top of a rubble wall at the centre, partly covering the channel. Dark soil banks rise around the cutting, and a standing slab and loose stones appear at the top of the frame.
