Excavation at the palace at Vouni: rock and stones

Description
An excavated area at the palace at Vouni, seen from above. Rough-hewn stone blocks form a wall on the left, and in the centre a rounded opening cut into the rock leads down into a dark hollow with loose stones on its floor. Rocky ground and broken masonry rise behind to a hillside under a pale sky.
