Excavation of a wall at Vouni Palace

Description
A narrow excavated trench runs away from the viewer between high walls of rough-cut stone blocks. At the far end a rounded opening leads into darker space, and loose rubble and rock lie on the ridge above. The sky fills the upper part of the picture, and no people are visible.
