Description

A steep rocky hillside rises diagonally across the frame, its upper face cut into a flat-fronted recess with a small arched opening and a smaller dark opening beside it. Dense scrub covers the slope below, and large pale boulders lie scattered in the foreground. The sky is bright and empty across the top of the image.
