Description

A group of people stands and gathers along a ridge of dug earth and rough stone, with shrubs growing across the slope. Several men wear caps, jackets or sashes, two women wear headscarves and long dresses, and a small child crouches at the lower left. Behind them a flat, pale landscape runs to low hills under a bright sky, while cloth, a board and a tool lie among the bushes in the foreground.
