Description

A deep excavated cut runs down through pale soil toward a dark recess, with large rounded stones lying at its base and in the foreground. Along the top edge, part of a person's legs, a standing figure and a crouching figure appear beside stacked grey boxes, and a vertical stake stands near the right. Flat land and a few trees lie beyond the trench.
