Buildings, a wall and a tree at Marion

Buildings, a stone wall and trees seen from a rooftop at Marion, under an empty pale sky. — Photograph: John Lindros, Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1929. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C01151. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A view across a foreground roof of flat tiles toward a low flat-roofed structure with a wall of rough masonry and dense shrubs growing along its top. Tall conifers stand at the left, and to the right a small square building with a window sits beside a low dry-stone wall. Hills and trees fill the distance under a bright, empty sky.
