Description

An open-topped car with a tall windscreen is driving towards the camera through a low arch in a rough, stony street. Plaster is flaking from the two-storey building above the arch, and its windows have bars. A man in a cap and a child stand on the left beside a white wall with a wooden-shuttered window and an ironwork balcony, and a few people walk in the distance beyond the arch.

An open touring car with a tall radiator and round headlamps comes down an unpaved street toward the camera, its driver wearing a cap. At left, a boy in a cap and a small child stand beside a whitewashed house with shuttered windows. Above the plastered arch, several faces look out through the barred windows of the building, and people walk through the arch in the background.
