Excavation at the palace at Vouni: walls and stones

Description
A rough stone wall built of irregular rubble blocks runs across the middle of the frame, its surface encrusted with soil. Loose fallen stones and earth lie on top and around it, and a sloping earth face forms the left side. The ground in the foreground is bare and partly in shadow, with a faint pencilled mark drawn on the print near the lower left.
