Stones during excavation at Vouni Palace

Description
A dug trench with a pale, sandy floor and a vertical face of darker soil at the back and right. Several large, rough-edged stones and rubble lie partly exposed in the centre and right foreground, casting shadows. The ground is uneven and dusty, with loose stones scattered across the upper part of the image.
