Description

Low walls of dressed stone blocks form rectangular rooms on a hillside, with a wide stone-edged channel running across the foreground. A small tree leans on the right beside the ruins, and the sky is pale and hazy. Bare rock and rubble lie around the walls, and a faint dark spot near the right edge may be a distant figure.

Description, scan 2
Low walls of large squared stone blocks run across the hilltop at Vouni, with a rectangular hollow between them in the centre. In the foreground, heavy stones and fallen blocks lie against a worn rock surface, and a small tree leans at the edge of the wall line. The background fades into a pale, hazy expanse of sky and sea.
