Glyptic, found in Tomb 403

Blurred photograph of a small glyptic object from Tomb 403 at Lapithos, mounted on a card — Photograph: Swedish Cyprus Expedition, 1927–31. Medelhavsmuseet, Stockholm, C00337f. Public domain (CC0).

Description

A small dark object with a domed upper part, a round dark hollow near the top and a rougher, pitted lower half, shown centred on a light grey card with a pale yellowish border. The outline is soft and the surface detail is hard to make out, so the form and any engraving cannot be read clearly.
